You'll be our go-to HR professional in a manufacturing SME (metal fabrication, Terrebonne): involved in day-to-day operations, close to employees and managers, far from a desk-only routine. Here, you help build a strong, engaging, human workplace.
Your responsibilities
Attract the right talent
- Manage recruitment from start to finish.
- Find creative ways to attract workers.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding for new hires.
Partner to managers
- Support managers with people-related challenges.
- Take part in performance management and labour relations.
- Help resolve sensitive situations with judgment and tact.
- Help maintain a healthy work environment.
Health and safety
- Collaborate on CNESST and OHS files.
- Participate on OHS and labour relations committees.
- Help reduce risks and improve practices.
- Ensure OHS compliance.
Grow HR at Metal CN
- Structure and improve processes.
- Take part in engagement and retention initiatives.
- Support employee development.
- Keep HR files and follow-ups well organized.

- Enjoys being close to people.

Your experience
- Degree in human resources or industrial relations.
- Experience as a generalist HR professional.
- Manufacturing experience is a major asset.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and OHS.
- CRHA/CRIA designation (an asset).

Schedule
- Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours)
- Day shift – Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM to 11:30 AM)
